Is it possible to limit the maximum temperature on a device?

I’ve just switched from Homey to HA, and there’s a lot to learn.
I’m transferring devices one by one along with their associated automations.

I’ve added two Heatit Z-TRM6 (Z-Wave) thermostats, and they seem to be working well.
However, I’m wondering if it’s possible to limit the maximum temperature on them, so that it’s not possible to set a higher temperature than, for example, 30 degrees celsius and not 40 degrees celsius as it is now.

Thanks!

(Sorry if this is the wrong category for this question.)

The simplest way is to create an automation that triggers when the temperature is set above something then sends a command to lower the temperature.

Do you mean from the Physical Panel or from HA UI?

If from HA do something like this:

homeassistant:
  customize:
    climate.bedroom_thermostat:
      max_temp: 30

Many thanks @Hellis81 and @PeteRage !
Both methods work like a charm, tested them both. I’m constantly learning something new here—talk about a steep learning curve!

You can do with Autonation but most thermostats have this as a setting. My thermostat allow set this in zwave properties
