I would like to restore addon data from back up. I would like to uninstall the addon in question with the “Also permanently delete this add-ons data” enabled then install the addon again. However I don’t see an option to restore data from a back up for the addon in question only? Is this possible via the GUI failing that are there other ways to achieve this?

You can restore the addon through the gui but if you need the addons data only you’ll probably need to crack the backup open and extract it.
@NathanCu thank you, do you mean doing a full restore via the GUI? Or do you mean restore the addon and it’s data via the GUI? I can’t find an option in the GUI for the later.
if you’re in 2025.2 then click on the backup itself.
Settings System, Backups, My Backups >
List of backups > Click on one
@NathanCu thank you, I was looking for a specific restore section on the same level of the back up section, or within the backup section, l didn’t realise I had to click on the back up to see the restore option, therefore isn’t intuitive to me. Now I can restore from the specific addon back up I made.
