Is MariaDB tracking same events as HAOS

I have installed MariaDB and the install has several databases installed by default. Is MariaDB tracking entity events and other history similar to Home Assistant saving to ‘home assistant_v2 db’? ie - is history being saved to two different databases?

I have HAOS on a HA Green and use windows for editing, etc. I have noticed my Dashboard seems sluggish and some of the Node-Red flows are not being executed.

New to HA and not sure where to start!

No. It’s either one or the other depending on your recoder integration settings. If you did not change this then MariaDB is not recording anything. If you did point it to MariaDB then SQLite (home-assistant_v2.db) is not recording anything.

I will look at Recorder and then try to sort out which is better MariaDB or SQLite for recording.

I have switched over to MariaDB and removed HA db.
