Is the Mater server now automatically included in a new HAOS Install

I just migrated from a Yellow to an x86. I created a new installation of HAOS using the Ubuntu boot and then image HAOS method. Then I restored a backup from the Yellow. I’ve never installed Matter on my Yellow, and none of the backups on the Yellow had the Matter add-on folder but now I have the Matter add-on running on my x86. It looks like the new install of HAOS gifted me the Matter add-on. Why?

No. Not included and doesn’t self install.

You didn’t add in past and forget?

No, never installed. I’m not interested in Matter and have no plans to use it.
Like I said, a review of backups taken before the upgrade did NOT include the Matter add-on. The fresh HAOS install must have created it.

You do not have a SkyConnect devices cr connected and it was maybe auto-discovered and you clicked yes to integrate it?

That is not true.

The Matter integration along with the Matter Server add-on is automatically installed when a Matter device is detected on the network. You can remove it if you don’t intend to use it.

Good to know.
Is this documented somewhere? Couldn’t find it.
