HA has a variety of climate controllers built-in and in HACS, but I don’t see anything that looks at climate control at a higher level. By this I mean something that:
- Has a setpoints that vary according to a user-defined program: within a day, across the days of the week;
- takes account of the external temp when deciding when to enable the climate control
- takes account of house-occupancy, vacations etc.
I guess I’m talking about something that mimics a smart programmable thermostat such as the Worcester Bosch Optimizing Digistat that currently controls my central heating system (though that doesn’t detect presence).
Before I go off and modify/build something (there’s a partial solution written for Domoticz called SVT), I wondered if anybody has already been down this road?
