I’ve been spending the last weeks on voice, how to get an LLM to work as CA, then STT, types of satellites and testing them (M5 variatiants, VPE, reSpeaker), testing ESP32 code for the satellite vs USB mic’s and Linux Voice Satellite code; I’ve read postings from people who are WAY down various roads, from a supplemental CA ecosystem to custom satellite code, very cool stuff.
But does OHF have a roadmap they are sharing? Specifically on satellite technology?
Not necessarily hardware, e.g. a VPE replacement – but some things I would really like to know:

Will the core HA team keep going down the linux path, or is it a dead end because now most of their attention is focused on the lowest priced hardware? (And so choosing raspberry pi based satellites today may be a mistake)?

When manufacturers produce USB based devices like the reSpeaker, are there plans to support them in the core product, or will that always be community/vendor provided? (Thank you formatBCE).
Over the last few weeks I went from thinking that no one was actively doing anything because the VPE seemed to have been the peak of development for years, but I’ve found a LOT going on behind the sceens. But… has it developed into a strategy?
I just looked at the official road map, and searching for voice doesn’t get you much. Unless there’s a different place to look?
