Issue displaying history data vaues from sensor

Hi,

Since febuary maybe, when I want to display temperature reading from a temp sensor, the data are not displayed correctly if I choose to show data from the last 30 days… Values, older than 10 days show the average values for 1, 2 or 3 hours, but the recent values (0 to 10 days are show correctly).

I’ve joined 2 exemple that show a normal reading from the previous month, and an erroneous exemple of values for the current month that displays 0 to 10 days corrctly and 11 to 30 days incorrectly.

What is the possible reason for this.

After the recorder purge_keep_days setting is exceeded (10 days by default) the graph only shows hourly statistics as the state data is discarded.

Or that is what it should do.

You are not the first person to notice it is displaying daily averages instead. See: Long term statistics looks like square waves

One of you needs to open a frontend issue about this.
