When I choose to edit dashboards, NONE of my elements have a configure or edit option, ie if I wanted to change the device for “Light Left” there is no way to do that. There’s a pencil icon to ‘edit section’ which changes layout, and I can edit the YAML, but there’s no option to just edit that individual element like I used to be able to. Cannot even delete it! I would have to delete the whole section and rebuild it?!? I rebooted and same issue will all of my “Sections” pages, but things like home map and other page times all give the edit/delete options for elements. What gives?
I tried using it in a Chrome browser in Windows and I see the 3 dots to edit an element but NOT in the app or Safari or Chrome for iPad, so the problem seems localized to ipad. Anyone else have an ipad and can try it?
-edit- Tried restoring a previous version and same issue. Tried on my iPhone and same issue so it’s not my ipad it’s all of my iOS devices.
Did you update today/yesterday to Home Assistant 2026.2.3? I think it’s a bug as I’m experiencing the same issues editing cards…
Can you verify your using the latest Home Assistant (released yesterday/today)?
I am seeing the same issue. Happens with companion app on iPad and iPhone. Also, Safari on iPhone, iPad, and macOS. Works with firefox on mac. I am on 26.4 beta 1.
Is that only in the dev beta? Do you know the beta version for those of us in the regular beta channel? Info only says 26.4, don’t know what point version it is.
