I’m seeing a weird bug where entity state is wrong in some places…
The zigbee cover was closed by an automation at 13:48 and opened manually at about 15:45.
It was open when the screenshots below were taken.
As you can see, some parts of home assistant “know” it is currently open. Others don’t. But the “last updated” date/time is wrong even on the screens that have the correct state!
Today is the first day I’ve noticed a problem. I upgraded 2025.10.1 to 2025.10.2 three days ago (11th Oct).
What can I do to diagnose this further?
Is it an issue with zha? Covers in general? The specific cover? My database? Home assistant?
If it’s a bug, how can I start a conversation with the maintainers? (I’m happy to help diagnose + fix, I am a dev but my python skills will be mostly limited to vibing…)
