Issue When Switching Color Temperature on LED Lamps

Hello everyone,

I would like to operate a lamp in warm white, but it should also be able to switch to cold white and then back again. However, switching from cold white back to warm white does not work reliably: when switching, the lamp simply turns off. The cold white state can be activated at any time, but the return to warm white fails.

Since this behavior occurs with two different manufacturers, I assume that the issue is caused by an incorrect configuration.

Can you answer the following questions?

  • How are you switching temperature? Is it via automation, via a scene, via the dashboard or some other way?
  • What bulbs are these and which integration are you using for them in HA?
  • What does the activity log show when the bulb turns off?
  • Do you have a brand / model number for these devices?
