Team,
I have the AdGuard server up and running in the network and is fine.
I installed AdGuard integration, native, but I cannot login in any way.
Can you help?

The error in the log said:
ValueError: Host 'https://xxx' cannot contain ':' (at position 5)
So likely you need to enter it as only a host, not a url.
Yes it is just asking for host. SSL is a tick box in setup screen. Leave out the protocol ( https://)
Hello Massimo Savazzi,
I look at this a different way.
The fact that the installation is proving difficult, what are you going to do when in a couple of months your setup shifts a bit and adguard has broken the DNS in your system and nothing works.
I suggest don’t install it if you are not exactly sure how it works, what’s it’s doing to you setup, and who is deciding that websites you are allowed and not allowed to visit.
I prefer to be my own sensor and ‘pay’ for content that I use.
Just advice from someone that sees adguard and pihole mess up systems regularly.
just a bit true. At least dont put your dns on the same hardware as your HA and so on. I have it running on an rpi and it just sits there for that only. And dont rely on 1 server only, have a backup (which is have with the ‘default gateway dns’).
But true it can be an invisible killer if you dont pay attention. But for me it was also a ‘fixer’ for many things, which outweigh the cons.
It’s a good tool if you can control it. If you are stuck on installing it, just don’t do it.
