Issue with Aqara FP2 Presence Sensor - No Response from Aqara

I know this is not a Aqara Support Forum, but I’ve tried to contact them three time in two different ways and I’m getting no response :frowning_face:

I originally set up my 3rd FP2 as a sleep sensor, but now want to use it to monitor zones so I have to change the Installation Method in the app.
But whenever I get to step 4 of the installation process I cannot get past this screen:

I have removed the sensor tom the Aqara app and reset it both ways - by pressing the button for 10s as well as by pressing it 10x - but I never get beyond the screen shown above.

And when I go back and try to configure it as a sleep sensor again, I get a notification that
‘The installation mode does not match the selected detection mode” with this image – although the sensor is installed on a wall:

Is this maybe an issue with the latest firmware (V1.3-0_0002-0092)?
I’ve never had this kind of problem with other sensors before.

Anybody seen the same thing?

Did you physically move the sensor to a different mounting location before changing the installation mode? If you have it mounted on the ceiling for sleep mode monitoring you can’t use the other sensor modes. You have to remount it on a wall to be able to do zone sensing.

It was never mounted on a ceiling - which is a mode that only supports fall detection.
For sleep monitoring the sensor is installed on a wall, just like what I’m trying to do now :frowning_face:

It currently is installed on a wall, and I’ve also tried the corner installation, in both cases, the app complains about it not being horizontal :confused:
