I am having an issue with a USB to NIC adaptor connected to a laptop after upgrading to operating system 8.5.
For some reason the NIC seems to go to sleep and I loose the network connection and I need to unplug and re-plug the network cable.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Also I am trying to source another compatible USB to NIC that will work with Generic x86-64 OS to see if my NIC is the fault.
Thanks for the idea, I will check if there is a setting in the bios as it is HAS OS,
I did forget to mention though, that it has been running fine for over a year and seems to be either
the upgrade to HAS OS 8.5 or a faulty NIC.
I have been trying to find a compatible USB to NIC ethernet adaptor to test as the supported NIC are limited to
Supported NIC:
Intel Gigabit NIC (e1000, igb - via Linux mainline)
Intel PCIe Gigabit NIC (e1000e - via out-of-tree module in buildroot-external/package/intel-e1000e)
