Issues with light brightness in 2020.5.0 release?

I set the default transition time to 5 seconds as exposed now in the ZHA configuration UI. After, I noticed that my lights would be stuck to a very low brightness. It looks like I couldn’t unset the value after it was set.

I’m not seeing any documentation on this new setting, does it exist somewhere else?

I’m using:

  • ZHA + a ConBee II
  • I noticed the issue with Sengled lights, but I didn’t do exhaustive testing
  • I’m using the flux integration on these lights as well

I rolled back to 2021.4.6 and all is working again (thanks zfs!). Glad to take some time to reproduce and debug this weekend if anyone else has seen this. Otherwise, I’ll probably wait for the next patch release or two and try again.

My ZHA would not set up so went back to 2020.4.6 also, I have the CC2531 router.

Either this issue was unrelated, or it’s been fixed in 2020.5.1 as I can no longer reproduce.

A note; the “Default transition” setting only applies to changing brightness (or other states?) of a light that’s already on. It doesn’t apply to turning a light on or off.
