i switched my network from Fritzbox to Unifi and set up VLANs. However, the VLANs aren’t separated from each other by a firewall. There are devices that can be accessed—their IP addresses are correct—but no entities are being reported to Home Assistant. It also happens that Home Assistant uses the old IP address, even though I’ve already changed it in the Shelly integration.
Don’t set-up Vlans unless you are versed enough in networking and getting all the needed info passing thru to your stuff and know it well enough to not have to ask this question.
HA is designed to work on a flat network. It can work with VLans but that would take people with more time than I am willing to spend on it and by people smarter than me.
