I recently tried to update to 6.04b but it wouldn’t update, it started spinning as though installing but would never actually update. Then things started to fail. When I go onto backup page I get three errors ; Error in location This system, Error in location HA Cloud, Error in location Synology DSM. The last two say failed to list backups. I can no longer access HA remotely and when I checked I can’t sign into HA Cloud (I pay for a subscription.) It just tries to log in, spins for ages and then says UNKNOWN ERROR. I can’t even restore a backup as it can no longer see them. This feels fairly catastrophic but I have made no changes except updates. I have done yet another reset and after days seem to have been able to update - now 6.0 but can’t sign into close or see any back ups. Any help appreciated
In fact it it is now worse as I can no longer connect to HA - either on laptop or phone app I get the Uh oh ! Cannot get a connection. The Raspberry PI has a static IP address on the router - I have reset the router and also reset the Pi but I can no longer get a connection.
What are trying to update to 6.04b?
Can you attach a keyboard and monitor to the Pi ?
not easily where it is in the server cabinet. I only have a wide gaming monitor which is fixed place. I can’t log in internally or externally - it happened following upgrade - haven’t changed any settings. I’m wondering whether I need to get a new sd card and restore a backup from last week. I can ping the Pi but can’t connect to HA.
Yes I was - it wouldn’t update for few days every time I tried - the. Updated to newest version which updated then everything failed
And you don’t have either of the 2 SSH add-ons installed, or the Samba add-on ?
To be honest I don’t know. I am def not an expert in this! I can’t even get in to see what I have. If I’m being honest I don’t know what the ssh add ons or samba are! Sorry - it’s worked fine for
Four years with limited tinkering and updates but has become so embedded in everything it is a major issue not to have it working
