I realize this is probably both difficult if not impossible AND might be above my technical abilities even with detailed instructions…
… but I’m wondering if anyone has successfully removed the BS Google junk they call an interface on/in Google Nest Displays and reappointed it with ANYTHING useable, worthwhile … even if its simply a clock that doesn’t disappear when the system decides it doesn’t want to play nice.

In case this doesn’t seem “HA” related… what I’m asking is:
Is it feasible to somehow utilize this piece of hardware in a more productive manner - preferably with a GUI associated with HA and not the native junk Google spent too much time and money screwing up?
Seeing as people have read this but no one has said yay, nay, or off-with ya makes me think it hasn’t been done or I wasn’t asking a clear enough question.
