Jewish Calendar - Erev Shabbat / Hag sensor

I’m new to HA (migrating from OH). I’ve installed the Jewish Calendar integration and trying to implement some automations using the integration’s sensors.

I wonder what will be the state of the “Erev Shabbat / Hag” sensor on special days:

  1. A Friday that is a holiday
  2. A Saturday that is also an Erev Hag
  3. A Saturday that is a holiday + an Erev Hag (i.e. first day of Rosh Hashana falls on Saturday)

Does the sensor just checks if it’s Friday or tomorrow is a holiday?

Another question is what is considered an Erev Hag? Is “Erev Purim” an Erev Hag (hope not) or just holidays where there’s an “Issur Melacha”?

I think the documentation can be clearer here, as we really don’t want to find out things aren’t working on a holiday…
