Hi everyone,
I’ve been secretly reading along here for ages, I don’t think I’ve ever
actually posted anything. But now I have something to show.
My dashboard grew over the years the way it probably did for most people here.
A card from HACS, then another, something bolted on with card-mod, plus a CSS
snippet from some thread that I still don’t fully understand. It all
worked. Sometimes.
When my girlfriend and I built a house, I wanted the ultimate dashboard. Today
it’s the only app I use, not just for the smart home but also for chat, cloud,
Proxmox administration and a lot more. There are many, many late evenings in
it by now. And somehow it never gets finished, it’s a long-term project

So I don’t clutter this thread with 40 screenshots, I built a small website
around it where you can click through everything in short videos, every
feature, every style:
Some of the building blocks you can pull over into your own instance through
the website and the connected add-on. I hope it’s easy enough to follow. If
anyone wants to give it a try, consider yourselves invited I simply enjoy
the design work.
One more thing before someone asks: of course I used AI while building this,
especially for the website and the add-on. Honestly, I wouldn’t have managed
it alone in that time, and I think these days that’s simply normal.
