I am attempting to configure MotionEye and it is expected to capture images from a Swan CCTV video feed when motion is detected. However, when using Media to view the MotionEye images, the files all appear as white outlined boxes.
I suspected a problem with Media as all the JPEG files were of slightly different sized. Adding credibility that they were pictures of different images. So I copied a random set of the blank images to a different Linux computer. From there I could view them with viewnior and they were actual images. Most appeared to have captured motion (me walking past the camera).
So, why does Medea display blank white boxes?
More background:
If I point Media to my Swan camera feeds it will create a web page of color snap shots. And if I click on one of those it will stream the live video.
