Ok, so presently I have a SmartThings hub and a Philips Hue Hub. My lights and switches show up, but not seeing my sensors. In researching on this forum, saw info posted on the Z-Stick USB stick.
So I set it up, and all seems to be working. Do I need to unlink my two hubs above to get all my devices working off the Z-stick? Just wondering the best way to go about this, as I would rather just use the Z-stick and my rasp-pi as my central HA hub.
Yes pretty sure your zwave devices can only be paired to a single hub at one time. You’ll still need your Hue hub as Hue bulbs are Zigbee-based and HA controls them through the hub. But you can get rid of your Smart Things hub.
Not sure if this is what you’re asking, but you have to repair all of your z wave devices with the z stick. You basically have three options:
Using SmartThings, unpair the devices one at a time. Should walk you through it on the app. Then repair in Hass.
Factory reset your devices (need to find the manual for each device type online to see how). Then repair with Z stick.
Put your z stick in exclude mode and then press the action button on the device you want to unpair. Its not really paired with the Z stick, but this usually causes the device to forget whatever it was paired to and then you can pair it normally

I don’t have experience with that bridge, but thought I’d offer, you may have better luck if you stick to one topic per thread. Your original post is about zwave, not hue. Perhaps some searches for other posts about that bridge, or a dedicated post from you would keep the responses on topic and clearer for you and others.
@gregg0981d - Thanks, still a newb to Hass but getting it. How do you do a repair in Hass?
@VdkaShaker15h - My original TITLE had z-wave but if you read the original post I refer to both ST and Hue hubs. My end goal was to replace both, hence why I asked about both.
@zarthan15h - Thanks for the info! At least I am down to only one extra hub for the time being.
There isn’t necessarily anything wrong with multiple hubs. You can replace the hue hub with a ZigBee stick attached to your HA instance, however there isn’t any other stick that understands Hue devices better than the Hue hub. I wouldn’t consider replacing mine for that reason. I don’t think the Hue hub adds any complexities to HA as it is well understood and well supported.
Re-pairing you Zwave devices involves removing them from your Smartthings hub and going through the pairing process in HA. There are no shortcuts. Make sure all your Zwave devices are well supported in HA before moving on. There are some things that require lots of gymnastics to get working in HA. You might want to consider using the Smartthings MQTT component to work with HA and transition slowly.
If these are battery powered devices, make sure you know how to temporarily wake them up if you need to make configuration changes. I always do an un-pair (remove node) in HA before I pair the device. It makes sure the device is clean if for some reason the previous removal process didn’t work. I do this with new devices as well. You never know when you may have received a previously returned item. Saves pulling your hair out at pairing time.
