Karban Airzone (fan + light + AQI) — WiFi/app-controlled, India

Hi all,

I’m looking for help getting my Karban Airzone (https://karban.in/) devices working locally in Home Assistant. Posting the details of the device I have.

Device: Karban Airzone [Pro / Pure / Smart / Smart Plus a 3-in-1 bladeless BLDC ceiling/tower fan with integrated dimmable, color-tunable LED light, and (on Pure models) a HEPA air purifier with real-time AQI reporting.

Connectivity: WiFi, controlled via the Karban mobile app (iOS/Android), with Alexa and Google Assistant support built in. No published local API or HA integration currently exists as far as I can tell.

What I’m hoping to expose in HA:

  • fan entity — power, 6-speed control, swing/oscillation
  • light entity — on/off, brightness, and color temperature/RGB (it’s dimmable and color-changing)
  • sensor entity — real-time AQI reading
  • Ideally a switch/mode entity for the air purifier function

What I’ve done so far:

  • Reached out to Karban’s software team directly to ask if they’ll publish API documentation - no response so far.

Appreciate if someone could help here.

Thanks in advance.

The Karban team were kind enough to help me with an integration, although its work in progress, the basic thing works. I am happy that it has a local integration and i dont have to depend on the cloud. quite happy with the product as well as the support from the Karban team.
