I’ve read most of the Kasa threads and most seem to be rather outdated.
I just discovered Home Assistant otherwise I may have chosen different hardware.
What I have is two existing HS300 power strips one which was immediately discovered the other is nowhere to be seen within Home Assistant.
Both have the same Hardware version (2.0) and firmware (1.0.11).
Is there a way to make further/additional scans?
Steps I’ve tried:

  • Restart Home Assistant
  • Use Add Device function

I’m sure I’m missing something but I can’t find anything else.

I’m failing to grasp how one power strip showed up fine but the other identical one did not.

And when you tried that the first thing you should have been asked for is the “Host” which also accepts the device’s IP address.
