After the last update, the login on the desktop with KeepassXc no longer works. Probably because something has changed in the registration window. I then imported the last backup and it works again. I haven’t found an option that worked.
Have someone an Solution?
I would check with the people and repo you got the software from. This appears to be a custom integration.
I sadly can confirm this behaviour.
Firefox & KeepassXC did not change so the problem is the HA upgrade ![]()
Maybe the login form has changed?
Maybe.
But the KeepassXC plugin usually scans the page dynamically. So “normal” form changes did not effect the login.
The frontend changelog points to this change. …
Keepass with FireFox & Kee is also not working. No Problem on other sites locally and remote websites.
I also noticed the changelog for frontend update.
Maybe this page is of help: Extension details · keepassxreboot/keepassxc-browser Wiki · GitHub
In my opinion, the extension doesn’t detect any form elements, which can be used for autofill. You can see this, when you reload the login page. At least in my case, i see that the page detects exactly 1 valid credential after loading (the small “1” as icon overlay). If you click on “Choose custom login fields”, no form elements are detected for username, password or TOTP and you also can’t define custom fields. With that, i assume the available fields are ignored (according to the page mentioned above) or are invalid form fields in terms of the KeePassXC Extension.
Yes, i think you are on the right site.
In the last few days there a some little updates. I have not tested about them while i am going backwards. Are there any news about?
I don’t know about updates. Maybe in a beta branch. Im currently on checking out, if HA is something for me. With that, I don’t use beta or test branches. But hopefully this will be fixed, specially since I can’t use global autotype/autofill as fallback with wayland.
