Yes, I was in the same situation with various manual buttons and automations, but I have to say, this integration is really fantastic. You’re catching it while it’s being built, so there is a lot changing in the background as it’s only recently in preview. @VaReTaS has a very large list of improvements and bug fixes that will go in very soon.
In the meantime, if you’re just starting out with 0.1.8, use the newest version of the auto populating dashboard I just posted after that release. Note if you started before 0.1.8, I’d recommend removing and starting again as noted in the first post. Most up to date dashboard is in post #36 for now. One other thing. I haven’t fully tested the recurrence with applicable days yet, but I can tell there is currently a bug that causes newly created chores not to get the scheduling updates they should have until after they go through 1 approval process which means they are approved, then after midnight of their original due date. At that time, they will be reset to pending status, and the attribute in the chore sensor named “due_date” will be updated to the next scheduled time. Again, most of these issues are actually fixed, I believe he’s just ironing out a few more open items to do the next release.
