Kincony AG Hub firmware and Integration

:satellite: KinCony KC868-AG Custom Firmware & HACS Integration

Hi everyone!

We have been working on a new custom firmware and HACS integration for the KinCony KC868-AG hub. Made this to work with Haptique RS90 universal remote which we make and sell. It is made open for the community.

If you own this device, you know itโ€™s great hardware, but configuring it via standard ESPHome or MQTT can sometimes be tedious if you have a lot of remotes. We wanted to build a solution that makes capturing Infrared (IR) and RF 433MHz signals effortless.

:zap: Why use this over ESPHome or Broadlink?

  • Local Storage: Capture and store commands directly on the device memory.
  • Low Code: No need to write complex YAML configurations for every single button press.
  • Ready-to-use Cards: The integration provides the necessary entities and UI in Home Assistant.
  • Unified Hub: Handles both IR and RF433 in one local interface.
