I recently saw that my wifi data usage was much higher than usual ~1Tb, and I think I’ve tracked down the problem to my always-on iPad dashboard. On that dashboard, I have the HACS weather-radar-card which loads another frame of the radar every 5 minutes. Because this tablet is always-on, over the course of a month it uses quite a lot of data.
I also have the companion app’s kiosk mode enabled for this iPad so the screensaver turns on after 1 minutes of inactivity. The ideal solution would be that the dashboard is not using data when the screensaver is on. Does anyone know of a way to do this? Perhaps, this needs to be a feature request in the GitHub repo.
