Know device picture not showing in Lovelace frontend

I’m When i add an image using the know devices.yaml file the images show up absolutely fine for the let’s say the original format (I’m a newbie and don’t know it’s name). However when I use the Lovelace UI it doesn’t show anything.

What am I doing wrong or is it a bug?

I assume you mean the badges ?
You can add them in the lovelace view.

I do have the same issue. Even if I add a badge the picture doesn’t show up. The same goes for a map card.

It turns out I was missing a / at the front

E.g. picture: /local/rick.jpg
