I am writing to share my experience and see if anyone else is facing similar issues after upgrading to the 2026.9 release cycle. I run three separate Home Assistant instances. After updating to 2026.9.0 (and today trying the new 2026.9.1 patch), I was forced to roll back all critical instances to **2026.8.3** due to major breakages in both the **KNX** and **Hikvision** integrations.
Here are the specific issues I am encountering on 2026.9.x:
### 1. Hikvision NVR: Selective Camera Stream Failure
* **The setup:** I have a Hikvision NVR with 3 IP cameras connected.
* **The issue:** On version 2026.8.3, all cameras stream perfectly. Immediately after updating to 2026.9.x (including 2026.9.1), **one specific camera completely refuses to show an image/stream in HA**, while the other two cameras continue to display absolutely fine without any issues.
* **Troubleshooting done:** I have restarted the NVR multiple times, verified all network settings, and upgraded the NVR to the latest available firmware. Nothing helps except rolling HA back to 2026.8.3, where the broken camera instantly starts streaming again.
### 2. KNX: Integration/Connection Failures & YAML Bugs
* **The issue:** After upgrading to 2026.9.x, my KNX connection fails to establish correctly.
* I suspect this is related to the recent backend changes to the KNX integration (like the initialization changes) or the active GitHub issue regarding YAML-defined devices being named after the physical network interface instead of the specified YAML ID.
* Because of this, I am highly concerned that I won't be able to connect my KNX bus to HA at all if I stay on the 2026.9 release, which is a major blocker since it controls critical building automations in my setup.

Is anyone else experiencing selective camera dropouts on Hikvision NVRs with the new network/IP changes in 2026.9? And has anyone found a reliable workaround for the KNX YAML device naming bugs without losing their entire entity history?

I have same issue since I updated on Sept 2nd standalone ip cameras work and ip ones attached to my NVR but non of the analogue ones will work
Same problem with Hikvision NVR, still not working on 2026.9.2. Did anyone find a solution? Thanks! E.
