Setup
This Blueprint uses a weather entity in Home Assistant to send forecast data to KNX. Start by selecting a weather Entity. For example, the default weather.home entity can be used.
In the Trigger Settings, choose how often the weather report should be sent to KNX: either daily or hourly. For the daily option, set a fixed time when the report will be sent. For the hourly option, define the time interval in minutes.
Next, in the Report Settings, choose the Forecast Type: either hourly or daily. The Forecast Number defines which forecast will be sent. For instance, selecting hourly with a Forecast Number of 1 sends the forecast for the next hour, while selecting daily with 1 sends tomorrow’s forecast, 2 for the day after tomorrow, and so on.
Under KNX Settings, specify the KNX group addresses to which the values should be sent. Finally, in the Report Description Settings, define which weather descriptions correspond to which 1-byte values. These values are sent to the designated Description Address depending on the weather condition reported by the forecast.
