Latest iOS app update breaks Frigate integration notifications

I recently updated the iOS app to 2025.12.1, which in hindsight was a mistake. I should have learned by now that blindly updating critical apps is a bad idea.

It used to be when I received a notification from the Frigate integration (e.g. camera motion detected), I could tap it, which would briefly launch the Home Assistant app, then immediately punted to Safari with an API URL that allowed you to view the clip recorded by Frigate (e.g. camera motion detected).

Since the update, clicking the notification just launches the Home Assistant app, displays the Overview screen, and … nothing. Never redirected to Safari to view the clip, and in fact I have to dig into Media Sources manually to locate the clip.

I will mention after updating the app, I was asked by HA to enable some location-aware enhanced security on the first launch, which I declined, because my device handles network location-awareness outside of Home Assistant, so I don’t need HA to “help” with this function.

That’s the only change or input I made since updating. Backend is unchanged.

Any ideas? Thanks
