I just upgraded my HA system (Raspberry Pi 4) to 2025.5.1 and I just noticed that all four of my Govee 5075 sensors have stopped reporting. They all stopped at the same time right about when I did the update. Everything else - including other Bluetooth sensors - are working just fine. I tried enabling debugging on the devices but I’m not seeing anything in the logs. Any ideas where I should be looking? THANKS!
In case anyone sees this it turns out that bdraco found the problem. I needed to go into the Bluetooth configuration and uncheck the passive mode scanning box.
From bdraco: "Govee devices behave a bit differently from most others. If there’s a device nearby that’s actively scanning, passive scanners can sometimes pick up the Govee broadcasts as well. So if a scanner was running in the area before but isn’t anymore, that might explain why the device suddenly stopped showing up.
This isn’t always the case, and there are many caveats involved. Factors like timing, device model, firmware behavior, and changes in the environment can all affect whether or not the broadcasts are detected."
