Just took delivery of a Laz-y-spa Toronto but the bestway app wouldn’t connect kept giving a ‘distribution network’ error so gave up and installed the Laz-y-spa app - so couldn’t use @cdpuk HACS addon, Does anyone know if the @BruceH5200 code still works?
@iamgrog68 I also just got a Toronto and have the same issue - it seems the Toronto comes with the AirJet V02, but the Bestway app only supports V01.
I’d love to hear if anyone has found a solution for this!
As an App, i binned the lazy spa and bestway smart hub app, and installed the Bestway SmartSpa app, works better than other two but still not found a solution for Home Assistant and I don’t have the brain power to figure out how to sort it.
@AaronT, @iamgrog68 - has any of you tried the Tuya SmartLife app? I am not 100% sure, but it is likely that BestWay is using the Tuya platform. (Like the other manufacturer does, as I remember…)
Same problem here, installed my new Toronto Ultrafit yesterday and only the Bestway Smartspa app worked so cant use the HACS addon.

Also the Bestway Smartspa app seams to be really buggy, works to control the spa manually, but no timers I have tried to setup for starting the heating during the night when power charge is cheaper has started the heater.
been ages since i installed any app on my phone and then load this to HA, but at the time i do remember having the same problem and within this thread or another very similar thread there was a note about depending what country you were in matter to what app to use, sorry was along time ago hope it helps
