Can‘t you just press the ignore button? Or does the message appear again (e.g., after a restart)?
However, in 2025.06 the trigger for the message will be removed as well.
Thus far, I never found a good usage case for scenes. ![]()
Night light is something that I realized by limiting the output to ~35%. Not sure if the current command set in HA allows this.
I did not try that yet as I wanted to be sure first that I did not miss anything important ![]()
You do that in LCN? At which time is it triggered and how?
Well, you need to press that button to make the warning disappear. If anything is left it will appear after a restart… At latest if the “faulty” automation is used again.
O.k. I See, I tried it now, let’s see wether it will be gone for good now.
Yes. I have some additional software that includes timers, which trigger a make/break command of a B table key. The key is programmed to send “Sperre (Zeit)” with a % value. In HA one would still need to use Actions though, however, I personally prefer this approach over using the scene command.
In my house all lights are members of a night group (may require two for A1 and A2 respectively) and the limit command is sent to the group at night.
Additional like LCN GVS or a third party system?
The approach with scenes has the advantage that I can use my light switches to go to full power light while the automatic motion sensor activation only activates dimmed lights.
