Leviton DZPA1-2BW Plug-In Outlet showing no entitites

Howdy,

I’ve been using HASS for a while but mostly with Google, Philips Hue, and SmartThings devices. This is the first time I’m setting up a Z-Wave device.

I believe Z-Wave is working correctly, I’ve been able to add the Leviton outlet to the network, but no entities are showing up. Ex, I was expecting switch.something to show up in my entities list. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong.

Things I’ve tried:

  • Heal Network
  • Heal Node
  • Restart HASS
  • Restart device (Raspberry Pi)

Here’s what shows up when I request Node Information:

If you look in the Device page, does it show any entities?

When you click on that entry, it will show you all the entities associated with the device. Is it showing anything else besides the zwave entity?

Thanks for your reply, it wasn’t showing any entities earlier.

I did a complete wipe of HASS on my raspberry pi and it is now showing a switch entity… Re-installing shouldn’t be the answer to this but my install is almost a year old so maybe a fresh start was needed.

Re-installing HA is almost never the answer.

I doubt it was in this case either.

Agreed but, sometimes you bang your head against the wall a enough times.
