Hi there. I’ve only just got a Home Assistant Green and am the absolute definition of a beginner, so apologies in advance if I need a lot of hand holding.
I’ve set up the LG webOS TV integration and with it I can control my TV (power on/off, volume, play/pause) and see what content is playing. However - I can’t change source, I can see and select the sources (specific apps and HDMI connections) but when I select one, nothing happens and whichever source is playing remains selected/highlighted in the source list.
I don’t think I’ve changed anything I shouldn’t have done but as I say I’m a beginner so there’s every possibility I have done.
If anyone’s got time to help please do, I’ll need instructions as to what code or information I’ll need to supply here too.
I just started using the LG WebOS integration today and I’m facing the same issue you are describing with the source not changing (while changing it from the LG App works file).
Also, I am unable to change the volume from Home Assistant (still while the changing it from the app work fine). I have a soundbar connected via HDMI-ARC to the tv, maybe that is causing issues with HA.
I will keep digging and if I figure it out I’ll let you know. If anyone has any pointers, please let us know!
Edit: I did some debugging with the dev tools, and sending the select_source action works properly on the LG TV.
