Greetings,
I was given a great review of LIFX Luna and told that “it just works with Home Assistant”. Awesome. I’ve been wanting to do more with Matter so I found one at a good price in a local store.
I have a dedicated IoT wireless network so I installed the Matter integration easy enough and then following the Matter directions I opened up my Home Assistant App and I went to Settings > Devices & services > Devices > Add Device >Add Matter device > “No. It’s new” and… it tells me to download the App that I’m already using. WTF???
Ok, seems like I’m not the only one who has found this stupid suggestion to download the app I’m already using. 
Found a post online saying I need Android 15+ to be a Matter bridge. Well, I have Android 15+ - LineageOS 22.2 last updated last week. The Home Assistant app from F-Droid is fully updated.
No. I don’t have an iPhone.
No. I don’t have Google Play so I can’t use the LIFX app.
It does have a wifi network I can join but a port scan revealed no open ports on the device so not sure what to do about that… 
Is there another way to get this working or do I just return it to the store?
