Hi guys!
is it possible to make light automaion with home assistant, but without a smart light bulb, just a standard one?

Which is the best light bulb hardware to get, for a scenario where you want flicker free (real no PWM Flickering, not marketing stuff) high cri lights, dimmable, color temp adjustable, and turn on and off with fading effect?

You can’t get color in a non smart bulb.
There are semi smart bulbs that can do color but that is just crap, they switch color when you toggle the light quickly.

I don’t know which bulb you should get since it depends on the mounting and what you actually need. But a non smart bulb is limited to on/off and brightness

Hmm Understood.
What about just LED strips instead, or any alternative?
