I have led lights that works on 24V, connected to a non-dimmerable power supply.
I currently have normal wall switches that just give/remove power to the power supply.
I wanted to install a dimmer (I am in Italy EU)
The installer was going to install a finder yesly bluetooth between the power supply and the leds, but I am not sure is going to work with my home assistant.
I have bluetooth as HA is installed in a raspberry pi 4, but I have all zigbee devices, so I never tried and I usually prefer zigbee.
The Bluetooth integration in HA is the equivalent of a device driver in Windows - it just enables the hardware. To do anything with it, you need an integration specific to the device you want to connect with. I can’t see anything for Yesly, so you’re probably right to be cautious.
I didn’t know that database, thanks! from a first skim, it seems most of the devices works on 220V, so they probably require a dimmerable power supply. I ll dig a bit more. thanks again
