Limit Plex Media Server pings

Hi everyone,

Novice here, so apologies if this is something obvious,

My plex server is not shared outside my home and therefore the Mac mini which hosts it only switches on in the evening when everyone is in. At the moment HA is pinging errors multiple times a minute while trying to connect to Plex.

Is it possible to restrict Home Assistant so it only attempts to reconnect to Plex once every 10 minutes or so?

According to the docs at

The Plex component supports the scan_interval: setting.

Adding

scan_interval: 600

to your sensor config should do it
