LimitlessLED issues

Hi all,

I hope this is the right area to put this in.
I’ve just started using Home Assistant as I’m thinking of switching from openHAB but I’m having a few issues with the Limitless LED module.

I have a couple of RGBW bulbs but when using them I’ve noticed that;

  1. The “Off” status of the switch just sets the brightness to minimum on my bulbs rather than turning them off. Logs indicate they are set to “HASS brightness value 0.0”
  2. The RGB controls doesn’t have a white reset function. Selecting the highest up colour in the RGB spectrum doesn’t seem to reset it to white, though the UI icons for the bulb itself indicate it’s back on white
  3. Issuing RGB 255,255,255 to the bulb in an attempt to reset it (using a scene) doesn’t seem to work either and the existing colour is just displayed.
  4. RGB groups in the documentation doesn’t appear to be correct. It states you can only use 1-4, where as I know from OH and confirmed in HASS too that the group ID’s are higher than that for RGBW bulbs.

Hopefully I’m just doing something daft and missed something in the documentation, but if anyone has any ideas on how I can solve these issues it would be most appreciated.

I do have a lot limitless devices with two bridges as well…

If you want to reset the lights to white I would recommend a restart of HA. But still just a workaround. A switch would be better…

I guess the Group thing is only because of the limits from the bridges. That’s why I have 2 bridges.
