Line-voltage (with z-wave) Thermostat?

I’m looking for a simple heat-only thermostat for switching a 240v resistive 1000W heater, that has local control.

I’ve only found this, although the device is “discontinued” but seems to still be available on Amazon. This for use in the USA.

Looks like it, but you can actually set it up locally using HomeKit. Here’s the last thread I saw about this.

I am real new here but if the current is the only issue, you can add a contactor to handle the load and use a good HA controllable thermostat to trip the contactor.
