Linkind Socket Configs Started great, then started failing every socket install

Hello Folks:

I bought a 4-pack of Linkind Matter sockets and boom, boom, boom, boom they went in with nary an issue. So I bought eight more. And I've only gotten one configured and working. All configs are puking now. Everything's on the same network because, right now, there's only one network. I had my phone forget my 5GHz network connection and then I connected it to my 2.4GHz connection.

There was a matter server update that I did yesterday and - yee haa! - I got one more device config'd and installed and now I'm back to the repeating failures. Here's what the situations are...

  • Situation 1 - Android app sees the outlet, but never connects. "Try again" in perpetuity.
  • Situation 2 - Android app sees the outlet, connects, never advances, pukes with "Try again" in perpetuity.
  • Situation 3 - Makes it all the way to Generating Matter Credentials and then it pukes.

I've searched these forums, read the pinned posts and I really believe I've done all the recommended things. PLUS The first four worked perfectly! Plug it, scan it, rock and roll

I've tried all the tribal knowledge solutions I've come across (turn off BT, then turn it back on, hard reset HA Green box, factory resetting the outlets).

What else? Logs! Oh yeah, logs. I searched for things like 'failure' and 'connect' and
'reach' and then just crawled logs for a bit. I came across...

This was in the Matter Server logs. Just below that, there was also this message which could be in play here...

I have a HA Green box physically connected to my ntwk with the latest greatest versions...

I am a newbie on this forum so please pardon any etiquette errors and thank you in advance for helpful corrections. I'm pretty tech savvy; I answered a bunch of questions right on Cisco exams for years.

Thanks for any guidance, direction or education!
