Linksys Smart WiFi Router

Hi
I am trying to link my Links Velop Wifi Router to Home assistant and i am unable to, anyone with knowledge can you please assist. I have no knowledge of YMAL at all. Thanks. the text i get read as follows: then theres YMAL Link provided

To use a Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router in your Home Assistant installation, add the following to your configuration.yaml file. After changing the configuration.yaml file, restart Home Assistant to apply the changes. The integration is now shown on the integrations page under Settings > Devices & services . Its entities are listed on the integration card itself and on the Entities tab.

Example configuration.yaml entry

device_tracker:

  • platform: linksys_smart
    host: 192.168.1.1

the integration you are referencing (Linksys Smart Wi-Fi - Home Assistant I think) doesn’t seem to work with Velop based on the notes on that page…

maybe worth having a look at this custom integration for Velop…configurable through UI and has loads of Velop related feature you might use

Hi
where do i get the link to paste on repository section ?

it’s all in the thread I linked to…read though it and you’ll get all the info you need…any issues post over in that thread

ohk let me try

i can’t seem to find the respective URL that i must paste on HACS Custom repositories

it’s all in the thread I linked in my first reply to you…in the first post there is a link to the GitHub repository with all the instructions and details on how to get started…you will be much better served heading over there and reading through that as you’ll get a much better picture than posting here…

to get you started the link for HACS (taken from first post in the other thread) is GitHub - uvjim/linksys_velop: Home Assistant integration for the Linksys Velop · GitHub

Thanks . I won .
