Loaded HA gets no focus

Not long ago (half a year, maybe more), when using a desktop PC with a mouse, it was possible to open the HA web page, move the mouse pointer over the side menu, and use the mouse roller to scroll the side menu.

Since then, it’s needed to click anywhere on the page, to make the side menu react to the roller.

I experience that using Chrome on Windows, Fedora, and MacOS.

I’ve seen no similar reports. Is it only me?
My impression is that it started to happen after the side menu refactoring. But maybe there is something else?

That sounds like something that is purely cobt ollee by the browser and not the homepage shown in it.

If you have browser mod installed that may be it, check the lower right of the screen when it happens to see if there’s a floating icon… interacting with the screen is required to clear it.

If that’s the case you can turn that off by going to the browser mod integration device page for your device and disabling the screen cast sensor.

Thank you.
I was blaming HA UI, but indeed it is the browser mod that prevents that.

I have to reevaluate I still need it.

I make great use of Browser Mod so it’s a must for me. But that ‘interaction required’ thing nearly drove me nuts until I figured out why it was there and how simple it was to disable it since I don’t need to cast to any device.
