Local Audio Stream on my Dashboard

As a disclaimer, I am familliar with HA, but by no means an advanced user. Please be kind.

I have a police scanner I would like to set up to be heard via Home Assistant. I have a local server set up with a local IP address. The server has a UI at the IP address, but it also provides an embedded player option.

I have tried the web page card, but it is unable to pull up the web page.

More info required. What scanner, what integration, what server, what web page?

Post your code on what you have already attempted [suitably formatted]

It is a Uniden SDS200 scanner running proscan for the local web server. I attempted to use the “webpage”
dashboard card, but it was unable to open the page.

I saw some posts that pointed to the music assistant integration, but I was not successful there.

Does this give you any ideas?
Is there an API from Uniden?
What format is the audio from the web page? Does VLC decode it?

I have not seen this client. The one I use does hook to the radio reference database for programming. The Proscan Software is not from Uniden. I do not think it has an API.

The the ending of the stream address is “stream.m3u”
