Local Deployment for SureFlap / SurePetCare Connect using only local MQTT Broker

I got best results with 6v

Unfortunate I knly solved the power of the catflap, but still use the original cloud version. That reports the low battery

Thanks. I’ve got a “dumb” catflap and I am working up an ESPhome solution which just records the motor operations to let me know that the cat has come in. I’ve used your power supply idea mounted externally and also powering the ESP32. But I was wondering where the voltage could be measured to report low voltage. This is it with the battery input not connected yet/ floating.

battery voltage should be measured at the battery connection itself. If below 4,8v it should be a warning for low battery and an indication that the mains power is not present
