Local To-do task due trigger

Hello all,
I am trying to use the Local To-do list for a Reminder list. I am stuck in creating an automation for notification on my phone when an item is due.
I am thinking of it to work this way:

  1. Item added in the local To-do list called Reminder which includes a Due date and time in it.
  2. When the item becomes due it will trigger a notification automation which notifies me on my phone.

My problem is i am not able to find any entity which triggers or changes state when the item becomes due in the list to be able to trigger an automation.

I will appreciate guidance.
