I got Nabu Casa today and now I want to “recreate” the location history from Google Maps. I’ve activated all the location sensors, but I don’t fully understand the settings or I can’t achieve what I’d like. Maybe you can help me.
I hope the sensor translation is correct - I use HA in German.
“Single precise location” is activated. Minimum accuracy 50m, minimum time between updates 60.
“Background location” is activated. High location accuracy is also activated. The trigger range around a zone is 300m (default), the update interval for high location accuracy is 10, and the minimum accuracy is 50.
“High location accuracy” is activated.
“Location zone” is also activated.
Now I would actually like to have it like this:
When I’m within a zone, it only shows me the zone (simple accuracy is sufficient).
As soon as I’m outside a zone, it switches to high accuracy.
The whole thing is already displayed on a map card where I can select the date (similar to Google Location History).
Can this be configured that way? If not directly, perhaps with automation?
