Hey, I have an INSPELNING Smart Plug from IKEA set up in Home Assistant, and I need to make it so that it cannot be turned off at all. The reason is that I have a server plugged into it, and if the plug is turned off, it could cause issues.
I’m looking for a way to lock it down completely so it can’t be turned off by accident or through any controls. Any suggestions on how to do this in the most elegant way possible?
It would be nice, if we were able to set it to “Energy Monitoring only” on the device itself. I have a homematic plug where I can disable the hardware button and the off command on the device. I would like to monitor the Energy consumption of my freezer. There should not be any point of failure leading to powerloss of the freezer.
